In the spirit of graduation season, our editorial team wants to celebrate Isle of Palms families whose children recently graduated from any level of schooling. We decided to send out a questionnaire to receive feedback from our new grads on the island. The following announcement was done in the style of a yearbook to serve as a nostalgic keepsake to look back on years later. We hope you cherish these memories as much as we did stitching them together!
ZANDER CALDWELL
High school:
I will be graduating from Oceanside Collegiate Academy and will be attending the United States Merchant Marine Academy where I will swim and study engineering.
Island activities:
Fishing, surfing, paddleboarding, hanging at the beach with friends. I have my pilot’s license and enjoy flying over our beaches. I was born and raised on IOP with my two older brothers and have enjoyed growing up here.
Favorite part of Island Vibes:
Learning about my island community and neighbors.

High school:
Homeschooled since COVID-19.
Island activities:
Surfing, wakeboarding at Shark Hole and attending DeepWater Church.

Seeing everyone’s cute pets!
