Cancellations received within three (3) days of the reservation booking are subject to a full refund. Prior to forty-five (45) days of the reservation arrival date, a guest may cancel with a cancellation fee equal to ten (10) percent of the total rental rate. Cancellations made within forty-five (45) days of the reservation arrival date would result in the forfeiture of all payments made. If a reservation is canceled and the property is rebooked at the same rate, the guest may request a refund, less the ten (10) percent cancel- lation fee. HURRICANES In the unfortunate event that a hurricane threatens Charleston, it is important that you follow instructions given by local authorities. Our policy is that we provide no refunds due to hurricanes or hurricane evacuation. However, we do offer travel insurance. TRAVEL PROTECTION INSURANCE Beachside Vacations has partnered with Red Sky Travel Insurance to provide Trip Preserver coverage for our guests. Trip Preserver provides coverage for trip in- surance, emergency assistance and travel services, hurricane evacuations and fam- ily emergencies such as illness or death in the family. The cost is 7 percent of your total rent. The fee is due with your first payment for full coverage, including pre-existing illness. It is non-refundable. We strongly urge you to consider this insurance when planning your Carolina coast vacation. Trip Preserver from Red Sky covers trip cancellation or interruption due to: • A named hurricane or other natural disaster that results in a mandatory evacuation. • Inhabitability of the destination vacation home caused by a natural disaster. • Inhabitability of your primary residence or your traveling companion’s primary residence caused by a natural disaster. • Sickness, injury or death of you, a family member or traveling companion. • Involuntary termination of employment or transfer of employment. • Extension of the school year. REFUNDS Beachside Vacations is not responsible for challenges including but not limited to: pest control, appliance malfunctions, air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet access, cable, amenities and décor. If a failure should occur, notify the Beachside staff. We will address the issue as soon as pos- sible during business hours. After-hours repairs will be limited to essential ser- vices emergencies.
