As another graduation season wraps up, we are celebrating an exceptional group of young leaders, athletes and entrepreneurs hailing from the Isle of Palms who are ready to make their mark on the world. Here are three standout local graduates from the Class of 2026:
Quin Scanlon – Lucy Beckham High School
Quin Scanlon leaves Lucy Beckham High School with a legacy defined by leadership and ambition. A skilled fullback, Quin took the rugby field for both the Bengals and the Wando Warriors. Off the field, he served his community through the ECCAS Lighthouse Keeper Leadership Program and showed early business acumen by helping launch Small Shield LLC, a digital security company for small businesses. Currently earning his pilot’s license and preparing for summer real estate studies, Quin is headed to Pace University in New York City this fall to study international business.
Holly Worth – College of Charleston
Representing the higher education milestone, Holly Worth graduated this May from the College of Charleston. Showing incredible drive, Holly earned a double major in hospitality and tourism alongside commercial real estate finance. Falling in love with the Lowcountry during her time on campus, Holly has decided to call Charleston her permanent home and will be staying local to launch her career with a premier Charleston hospitality group.
Tyler Cubello – Bishop England High School
Tyler Cubello capped off an unforgettable career at Bishop England High School as a true scholar-athlete. An honor roll student and Investment Club member, Tyler balanced his academics while working as a dock hand at the Isle of Palms Marina. On the lacrosse field, the team co-captain delivered a historic senior season, earning 1st Team All-State honors, Position Player of the Year and MVP of the North- South All-Star Game. Tyler will stay close to home this fall to study business at the College of Charleston.
