I fully support Mayor Pounds. He has done an outstanding job for our Island. He continues to be recognized by his peers (other Mayors in South Carolina) as an excellent leader and contributor to our community. His accomplishments speak for themselves. We have a number of significant challenges ahead of us and we need someone who can unify our community around these major initiatives.
I find it ironic that Scott Pierce, current member of the City Council, is running for Mayor after bad mouthing Mayor Pounds in hopes to win political advantage. Bad form
