The VFW Post 3137 on the Isle of Palms presented the Americanism Award to Boone Hall Plantation on June 12, an accolade recognizing local businesses which support our active-duty military and veterans.
Katie Dickson, director of horticulture, accepted the award on behalf of Boone Hall Plantation. Lisa Lasko, chairwoman of VFW Post 3137’s Americanism committee, presented the award.
Boone Hall proudly flies the American flag and provides the plants for the Patriot Courtyard at the entrance of VFW Post 3137. VFW Auxiliary member Cheryl Stallings provides the expertise and labor to beautify the “Post on the Coast.”
